As expected Jason and I didnt get parts in 'forum'. Neither of us are dissapointed. I wasnt prepared to do the audition in a number of ways. I havent done any drama or public singing in 5 years. as for acting I havent done anything big in almost ten years. Ive been planning to get some music and theatre classes in at LCSC, but i have to wait until the fall, as no classes are available until then. So in the meantime ive decided (if we can afford it) to find a place in town and get singing lessons. At least that will help me get back into the swing of things vocally. It kinda makes me sad that I grew up and forgot all the things that i loved when i was a child. The biggest battles i had growing up were convincing my family to let me do musicals and plays. they always thought acedemics were more important. Anyway...its never too late to get back into the swing of things.... And Im looking forward to this years productions at the civic, most of them I am very familiar with...and by very familiar, i know them word for word.
