i skipped school today because linda (our main instructor) is on her way to vegas, and it sucks when she's not there. So today im gonna make pumpkin spritz and wheat bread. while those are baking/rising im gonna pick up the living room, and start putting christmas stuff up :)

I went to use the toilet awhile ago, and stepped into a puddle of water. I turned the light on, and there was water all over the floor and into the hallway. the upstairs apartments toilet overflowed and made our bathroom messy. the landlord has known about this for quite some time but hasnt done anything about it. When their toilet overflows our house shouldnt get wet. there is not one reason why this couldnt have been fixed earlier. THEY KNEW about it and said it was taken care of...If this doesnt get fixed its a deal breaker in my mind. I will leave in no time flat, lease or no lease, and I will get all of my deposit back. Im sooooo frustrated right now. the property manager doesnt even have an after hours number!!

Last night I had this disturbing dream, and I remember waking up a few times during the night. When I woke up this morning I didnt remember any of it, just that in the dream, I didnt know where I was or who I was, and I was extremely confused and frightend. I napped a bit this afternoon because i felt like i didnt sleep enough last night and I had the same dream. IT felt like I was lost, and I didnt know who or where I was. I remember hearing sounds around the house, like the tv, jason, the fishtank etc, but I couldnt wake up. When Jason woke me up I was so scared. Ive never had dreams like this before. I feel like im walking in a fog even when im awake, and im a little scared to go back to sleep. I know its silly, cause dreams arent real, but it felt so real...

work was good tonight, I didnt get to drive because my boss hasnt gotten my driving record yet :( she wasnt supposed to let me drive last night. so I boxed pizzas for a few hours, just until the dinner rush was over, then i got sent home. I have tomorrow off, then work wed-sat and poss sunday.

We finally got our nail kits in at school *yay* we did manicures today, and I have a fairly nice polish job that stayed on pretty well during work. We should start learning how to do gels and/or acrylics this week. We also start pedicures, which Im not looking forward to...I dont mind giving them, but we have to get one and I really dont like being touched, especially my feet, they're very sensitive. I hope the person who does mine is super fast.

our ratties are sick :( they've got an infection of some sort...Its prolly from their living conditions when we got them. Their cage was disgusting, and looked like it hadnt been cleaned in days. when we brought them home we just dropped them off, and went to petco to get bedding and stuff, when we came back the house reeked of rat ickieness even tho the door was closed in the room that they were in :S I gave them baths and jason washed out their cage, and filled it with bedding and stuff. Anyway, we called the vet and she's gonna give us some antibiotic, cause Hermione's eye is red, and Ginny's nose is running, and theyre both sneezing. :( poor ratties.

If any of you read my Husbands journal you know by now that he lost his job yesterday. I am not employed so that leaves us in a bind. He went and applied for unemployment today, and we should get the first check in about 3 weeks which should total about $650. Now all we gotta do is convince the electric company and the cable company to wait untill the check comes....
I start school on Monday, and I still need to get some shoes. I feel so bad, I have a ton of shoes, but no all black ones that I can wear and stand up in all day, and Jason has needed shoes for quite some time now. I think for now Im gonna buy some cheapie $5 shoes at wal-hell and when i get my first loan check buy both of us a pair of good shoes.


Vacation went very well, we had a great time, and discoverd some new places. We drove a little ways up the Washington Penninsula, and we definitly want to go back again.

Jason and I are still in the seattle area on vacation. Im just stopping online to check my email and junk. Whilst browsing thru my freinds list I found a contest for US voters. anyway...dsl sucks compared to cable, so I must get off this unsufferably slow computer :P

Well, only a few days 'till we leave for vacation! We are gonna be gone for a whole week :) We are leaving on Sat. Heading over to Portland, stopping at Multnomah falls on the way. We will stay at a freinds house that night. Sunday we will dive to Florence, stopping in Eugene to visit some more friends. Sunday night we will be staying at Jessie Honeyman State Park. Monday we will drive up the Oregon coast visiting all the fun places; Newport, Tillamook, Sea lion caves etc. Monday night we will stay at Cape Dissapointment. Tuesday (my 25th birthday) we will drive up to Seattle and stay with Jasons brother in Snohomish. We will do all the fun touristy things in seattle, then on Saturday the 11th we have Tickets to a Mariners game. We will leave for home early Sunday morning, so we can go to church, and Jason can get to work on Monday. Sounds like fun huh?

alright now that i said that, I wish we had more of it. Jason is having a hard time at work (heh whats new?) and I dont have a job anymore...well i dont know if i do or not. I asked my therapist to write me a letter for work stating I wasnt able to go back untill we get things figured out. well THEY NEVER WROTE THE LETTER! So my boss wrote me off as never coming back :( grrr. I called them and they said they would call the corporate office to see if I can come back or not. I told her i had all the documentation proving my inability to work for the last few months, but she didnt seem too interested in that.

Now, after all that, Jason is gonna take his vacation (well he just asked for the time off) in september, around the time we have tickets to a mariners game. We really want to go to Oregon and drive up the coast. I just dont know if we will have enough money to do it. We may If we dont do any of the touristy stuff. Which is ok, I guess. I just wanted to go do some of the things we didnt get to the last time we were in oregon.
