I know how to crochet, and ive wanted to learn how to knit for awhile. so i bought some needles at the thrift store today...I still dont know how to use them. I was curious if any of you who read my journal know of sites that have wmv files or videos of some sort with the basic steps to knitting? I have paper instructions, but i dont quite understand them, Ill try them tomorrow and see how far i get. I think i can get to a purl, but thats it...anyway, any help would be appreciated.

have you noticed how all my links are blue? well I would like them to be a more visible color, like white. Please tell me how to do this. Ive looked all over. and I dont think it can be done with this style setup, but if you can be of any help...PLEASE HELP!
